this is buddy
BUDDY CASIMANO is a performer with 30 years of working experience in all mediums of show business. Before tumbling into show business, he was a competitive ELITE level gymnast, as well as a 3 time Jr. Olympic swim champion.
In the 80's, he attended high school With teen pop sensation Debbie Gibson and after he beat her in the talent show, she hired him and he began touring the world as her back-up dancer.
While on tour with Debbie he has performed at Royal Albert Hall for Princess Diana as well as Wembley Stadium in London, the Buddokhan in Tokyo, MoviStar Arena in Santiago Chile', the State Street Theatre in Sydney Australia and the legendary Madison Square Garden in NYC. But it was the Rockin Rio II performance in Rio De Janeiro (1991) that would go into the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest paying audience for a concert EVER! A-HA & Debbie Gibson were the acts... 198,000 fans dancing along to Debbie's pop hits & Buddy’s choreography.
After his 3rd world tour with Debbie, he pursued his dream of dancing on Broadway. He learned that if you stay focused, work hard, go to EVERY audition possible and believe… your dreams can come true.
**His life in show business has been filled with crazy experiences like being kicked by Madonna, having his nose broken by Sandy Duncan, falling down the stairs with Sally Struthers, & sipping tea with George Michael. Buddy’s legs were the model for Elvis in the international “ABSOLUT Memphis“ ads and those shoes are in the Smithsonian pop-culture exhibit . He also has the distinction of having a pair of his dance shoes from Debbie Gibson's tour displayed in the Hard Rock Cafe`(Tijuana).
